Digging Deep into Your Family History ( For the Beginner )
. Instructor Sam Maner, local author of several genealogical publications and previous Ancestry.com worker,and Instructor with Pellissippi State Community College, Tellico Village Public Library and now Roane State shares his years of genealogy expertise with class participants. This class will be a 1 day class over 4 hours, Limited to 20 students. You can bring your laptop with your research, Records you have collected. Mr. Maner will work one on one with each student to help you get started. (If you do not have a genealogy program one will be provided at no charge.) If you only have your parents name this is the class for you.
Digging Deep into Your Family History ( Medium Experience )
This class will be a 1 day class over 5 hours, Limited to 20 students. You can bring your laptop with your research, Records you have collected and want to put into a research format. Mr. Maner will work one on one with each student to help you find missing pieces to your genealogy . (If you do not have a genealogy program one will be provided at no charge.) This Class is for Researchers who are stuck or just want help finding more...
Digging Deep into Your Family History ( Basic and Experience )
This class will be a 1 day class over 6 hours each class. Limited to 20 students. You can bring your laptop with your research, Records you have collected and want to put into a research format. Mr. Maner will work one on one with each student to help you find missing pieces to your genealogy . (If you do not have a genealogy program one will be provided at no charge.) One on one in dept, research. You tell me what you want to find. Hereditary Organizations paperwork, etc., Hard to find Ancestors, Adoptions, Living Lost Family.
FAMILY GENEALOGY BOOK
Bring Your Photos (I will have 2 Scanners to scan your photos with..)
Your old Family Stories (Typed out in word) If you do not have a computer please call me and mail your stories to me and I will have them typed out.
Your Genealogy Please Email each of your trees to Sam and he will document the line back for you. Included in class price. (We will complete your this in class)
This will be step By step, working with each student to personalize your family book
We will put a family book together and publish it via Createspace.com (a Amazon Co.) This will be your name on the book as well as a recorded copy of our work in the Library of Congress.
This class would be better in September so we can get them all published before December.Week after Labor Day will work. 4-8
