Finding African-American Freedman Native American Roots

Hello All

I wanted to go over finding Native American Records. Lots of times the records are online but not indexed. Also when the lines are Freedman they where automatically denied they where for the most part marked as "Slave" Also when you look for the applicants paperwork they where not kept or at the least not microfilmed in 1909 when this injustice was done.
